Amazing mouse. Form and function were perfect, my only complaints were no DPI selection and no wheel left and right tilts, but I bought a g502x to solve that problem. For gaming I still preferred to use this mouse. I recently upgraded to the superlight 2 DEX which is even better and has a right handed fit. I still have my superlight 1 and use it for my living room PC. Great deal at this price.
According to google just the G502 X series (wired, Lightspeed, and Plus), G Pro X Superlight 2, and Pro 2 Lightspeed have optical switches (which should be less prone to double click).

are you sure there's no dpi selection? or are you talking about polling rate? because no dpi selection would mean there's no onboard memory for mouse speed. this means if you ever switch your mouse to another computer, you need to set it again on that computer and it'll never feel the same. i find it hard to believe logitech would remove this feature for a high end mouse.

They're talking about a dedicated bottom button for DPI selection, like the G Pro has.
It's really a non-issue, as most people use one DPI consistently.
The mouse wheel tilt is another head scratcher. That's one of the first "features" to break, so it's one to avoid.

Pulsar is worth looking out for if you are cool waiting for a sale. I have two of their mice and I've enjoyed them, though it's probably worth going to a microcenter or electronics store and trying some out. Different weights, shapes, switches, button placement and grip type make it a pretty personal decision.

wheel tilt button is necessary for opening link in another tab. the wheel click force is terrible on the finger. ive moved away from mouse for web browsing completely so i dont need it but it was an absolutely necessary feature for like 20 years. i used to pay out the ass for the old g something mouse on ebay because only it had wheel tilt. nowadays i use controller for browsing now, it saved me from hand pain completely . also, yea nobody actually switch dpi on the fly because the mouse speed needs to stay the same. i thought he meant you couldn't change default dpi. that's why i was surprised.

A mouse with thumb/pinky buttons never crossed your mind?
The G600 and its clones have 12 thumb buttons, for example.

It has a setting to mitigate debounce.
