The G Pro X Superlight is a very light wireless gaming mouse that stands out for its shape, tracking, and overall feel in games. The low weight and simple design make it comfortable for long sessions, and the mouse has remained satisfying for years in daily use. The main drawback is Logitech's recurring double click problem, with some units also developing scroll wheel issues. It also lacks a dedicated DPI button and wheel tilt, which matters for some workflows. A strong pick if you want a minimalist gaming mouse and can live without extra controls.
Competitive gamers wanting a very light wireless mouse, because the shape and performance feel excellent for gaming.
Yes, double-clicking is still reported on this model, and some units develop it after months of daily use. A debounce workaround with XMouse Button Control can help, but the more durable fix is moving to a Superlight 2 or another model with optical switches.
The mouse is described as lacking a dedicated DPI-selection button on the body, though the DPI setting itself can still be managed in software. For most people who keep one sensitivity, that omission is a non-issue; if you switch computers often, onboard DPI memory matters more.
No, it does not have left/right wheel tilt, which some people use for opening links in a new tab. That feature is also described as one of the first mouse features to break, so its absence can be a plus for durability.
Its shape and weight are praised as excellent for gaming, and it is still preferred over newer mice by some users. The fit is personal, though, so trying different shapes and weights in-store can help before buying.
Amazing mouse. Form and function were perfect, my only complaints were no DPI selection and no wheel left and right tilts, but I bought a g502x to solve that problem. For gaming I still preferred to use this mouse. I recently upgraded to the superlight 2 DEX which is even better and has a right handed fit. I still have my superlight 1 and use it for my living room PC. Great deal at this price.
According to google just the G502 X series (wired, Lightspeed, and Plus), G Pro X Superlight 2, and Pro 2 Lightspeed have optical switches (which should be less prone to double click).

are you sure there's no dpi selection? or are you talking about polling rate? because no dpi selection would mean there's no onboard memory for mouse speed. this means if you ever switch your mouse to another computer, you need to set it again on that computer and it'll never feel the same. i find it hard to believe logitech would remove this feature for a high end mouse.

They're talking about a dedicated bottom button for DPI selection, like the G Pro has.
It's really a non-issue, as most people use one DPI consistently.
The mouse wheel tilt is another head scratcher. That's one of the first "features" to break, so it's one to avoid.

Pulsar is worth looking out for if you are cool waiting for a sale. I have two of their mice and I've enjoyed them, though it's probably worth going to a microcenter or electronics store and trying some out. Different weights, shapes, switches, button placement and grip type make it a pretty personal decision.

wheel tilt button is necessary for opening link in another tab. the wheel click force is terrible on the finger. ive moved away from mouse for web browsing completely so i dont need it but it was an absolutely necessary feature for like 20 years. i used to pay out the ass for the old g something mouse on ebay because only it had wheel tilt. nowadays i use controller for browsing now, it saved me from hand pain completely . also, yea nobody actually switch dpi on the fly because the mouse speed needs to stay the same. i thought he meant you couldn't change default dpi. that's why i was surprised.

A mouse with thumb/pinky buttons never crossed your mind?
The G600 and its clones have 12 thumb buttons, for example.
