I've been happy with my Deco x5700's (Costco version) that I've had for 2-3 years now. I did have to wire the backhaul (old plaster/rock lathe house) and that improved them more than I can express. I have a total of three units for a large/long house (garage, kitchen, and upstairs hallway). The fourth is in my dethatched workshop and is still a wireless backhaul. But it supports the outdoor area nicely.

These are not overly advanced configurable, so if you're a power user, you may not like them. But for the average user, I've been happy with mine. I do buy their parental controls app to restrict access to some content/bedtime stuff for the kids.
