Try the demo, to me the Star Trek aspect was great but the Oregon Trail mixed with Sim Tower* wasn't really my jam.

*Edit: Fallout Shelter (below) was probably a better comparison

I bought it for his price and like the game. Not sure why it's so hard to make a TV/Movie elated game. Game actually follows plots from the series. Though you can make your own choices. Sectors are random and plots can be missed or changed due to rng. Base building follows games like fallout shelter, Alters, War of Mine. Fans of the show should enjoy the game if you like management play style. Actual voiceovers for the dialogue could have took it up a notch.
