This Duracell 2032 four pack is mainly about getting a recognizable brand at a low price, but the thread leans toward caution on battery deals from Amazon. The batteries are discussed as useful for AirTags and car key fobs, yet there are repeated reports of dead or weak cells arriving in packs, along with concerns about short lifespan, quality drops, and possible counterfeits from third party sellers. Some alternatives like LiCB, Voniko, Toshiba, and Energizer are brought up as better value or safer bets. A decent brand name deal, but not one that inspires much confidence.

  • Some buyers report good results with CR2032 batteries purchased on Amazon.

    ihtcGinnyMaive

  • The listing price can be competitive for the Duracell brand.

    Souka

  • A battery container can help resolve a practical storage or access issue.

    Ignatz

  • Some users report that certain alternative brands like Voniko perform well in key fobs.

    Souka

  • Button batteries bought on Amazon can arrive already drained across multiple orders.

    NateN8140

  • Duracell 2032 batteries may fail in AirTags even when the pack is unopened.

    SpinControl

  • The listing may carry seller-related risk, including concerns about counterfeits or quality drops.

    GinnyMaive

  • Batteries can be difficult to remove from the packaging, creating friction at first use.

Do you have any recommendations on brand and/or website to purchase from instead?

Most local stores will have 2032 batteries. Walmart, Target, your mom and pop hardware store.

Finally solved that issue by buying one of those battery containers that used to be advertised on here about once a day.

I actually clicked this deal because my LiCB battery order had half already dead and the others last about a month in my car key fob.

Single 4 pack is oos, but a similar listing has them for $4.39 but warning they won't taste as good! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009108SGS

Also randomly: "The Duracell 2032B4CT lithium battery pack contains no quotes or special characters" is a weird thing to mention in the product description lol

Looking at reviews imo a lot of their top-rated brands have dropped in quality since this video, and often have lots of bad reviews mentioning short life spans or dead batteries. Or - and possibly more likely - a third party just jumped on the listing and is selling counterfeits (a lot of them seem to be sold by MYBATTERYSUPPLIER. I didn't look through all of them though.

The Toshibas seem to still get good reviews but I'm leery of the seller.
