Not the same! The cheap one the metal is soft and will not hold up! The ridgid will last a long time

I am fine with a lot of no name cheap stuff, when I am under a sink with my 6foot plus body shoved in a cabinet I want something that won't slip or break.

Bought this about 10 years ago and still looks new. Good tools always are worth it in the long run.
