For what it's worth, just last night I ordered a 77" C5 off GT for 1749 and think I'll qualify for a $100 rebate in form of Mastercard gift card. Not as good of a deal as I was looking for but I was tired of waiting.
I'm a little worried about shipping since it's coming from a freight company I've never heard of but we will see.

I'm still waiting hopefully it pays off waiting for something around $1500? Also is green toe tax exempt?

I bought this for Cyber Monday, I think it was $1300 at BB and I was able to use the Paypal $250 back.

But all that said, I think this is a great TV, especially if you have light control. I have been really happy with it.

I got the C5 for $1800 back in January and had it price matched down to $1250 or so a couple of weeks ago when it went on member sale. It also triggered the bonus $50 certificate since they processed it as a return and rebuy.

Christmas deal was 65in 900 so 77 $1400 I think too far from being slick. You should be in c5 territory
