I have one. Nice shed, needs a floor and takes forever to assemble because of the millions of screws.

Great price but know this takes some time to put together. I would also suggest having a second person to help.

Ha! That reminds me of the news article I was reading yesterday how California spent $30 million to get an old building to make into a homeless encampment to house 30 people. The building has been under repair for several years. It took over a year to get permits. The building is still unfinished. They say it might be done by the end of the year. All the locals say there is no way that will happen (nothing being worked on). Imagine spending $1 million on each 30 homeless people. Negative return on investment. They should be buying these sheds. 🤣

I had an 8x10 one and it was able to withstand heavy snowfall without the roof strengthening kit. However I will never buy a metal shed again because the assembly was absolutely a pain.

There has to be a better way
We put one of these together in August in SC. Roasted and lost 10 lbs in sweat. Definitely easier with two people. 10 million screws and we had 1 million screws left over

Like the high speed rail project?

One day I'll have an NGO that embezzles millions.

To comment on the deal, make sure you waterproof the seams with caulking. You'll end up with a ton of moisture inside if you don't.

Looks like it's available on Amazon as well. I bought one there since I get 5% back. The reviews are bad, but I guess I'll take the risk for the price.

The problem with these cases, assuming the "old building" was a commercial building, is that offices, warehouses, factories, etc aren't generally compatible with building codes for residences. Most office buildings only have a single chase for plumbing and water, doesn't work for a half dozen apartments per floor since everyone is going to need their own bathrooms and kitchens. Also windows must open in residences, office buildings have sealed windows. Multiple points of egress vs ingress are also not possible. Adding a electrical outlets every 6-ish feet...yet another problem.

BUT these people (not just in CA but all over the nation, and world) love the idea of repurposing unused or under realized properties as opposed to demolishing and starting from scratch. Sounds great in theory, from an environmental standpoint or the shortsighted "SaViNg tAxPaYeR MoNeY" but does not function in the real world.

Or they'll do something absurd like after Hurricane Katrina (or any major disaster), they'll lend everyone $30K trailers to live in for 6 months, force the people out afterwards....to have no where to live again, then sell the trailers for $500 each afterwards to resellers when they could have built a permanent home which was (TBH) nicer than many of the original homes that were destroyed. Same investment, but the money isn't thrown away after 6 months and the people have somewhere to live (if they choose to) until the end of time.
