This 11 inch iPad Pro M2 stands out as a compact Pro tablet with a 120 hertz display, strong performance headroom, Face ID, and enough longevity for several more years of updates. The smaller size is praised for portability, especially compared with the heavier 12.9 inch model, and the price lands well below Apple trade in value. The main drawbacks are the 128 gigabyte storage limit and the fact that the 11 inch model uses a standard LED Liquid Retina screen, not mini LED or XDR. It is a compelling fit if you want Pro features in a lighter everyday size.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, even with shipping, tax, and a Club membership, the total can still land around $440, and Apple trade-in values for this model have been cited at $430 to as high as $670. That makes the sale price especially strong if you can offset it with trade-in credit.
No. The 11-inch 2022 iPad Pro uses a standard LED-backlit Liquid Retina display with IPS technology, while mini-LED Liquid Retina XDR is reserved for the 12.9-inch model. That matters if you were expecting the brighter XDR panel or want to avoid that display type.
The 128GB model has about 115GB of usable storage after the system takes its share. That makes the base configuration tight if you keep large games, media, or lots of offline files.
Yes, the M2 iPad Pro should still have roughly 4 years of updates left. That gives it a long usable runway even though newer iPad Air and Pro models have faster chips or newer display tech.
Yes, it has Face ID for face unlock. That is one of the practical upgrades over many base iPads and makes unlocking and authentication faster.

I know. I have a M1 Air with 256 gb. But would love the better screen. I think this has face unlock as well, which would be amazing to have. Don't know if 128 gb will work though.

I placed my order at 2:23pm Eastern yesterday afternoon.
Just providing another data point since cancellations seem to be higher than usual.
