Using one right now. AOC - 27" Q27G40XMN is currently $180 at Best Buy. I have used multiple oled monitors and one mini led IPS monitor, the KTC 4K 27" one that all the reviewers say is great. I don't like current oleds because they are not bright enough. The mini led IPS had zone lighting issues when local dimming was turned on, turns out that is normal but still sucked. This AOC one I am using does not have the zone lighting issues with local dimming on.
Watching HDR content looks almost as good as with an actual oled because the VA panel has better contrast than an IPS panel. At least with the AOC I have not noticed any smearing. The AOC is 180Hz and this one is 300Hz. Is it worth $120 more than the AOC? Who knows.
