For your consideration: I purchased over $1,000 worth of keyboards to test last year. I kept the Razer Huntsman V2. I love it so much that I ordered a backup on a current Woot! Deal. ($62.99 after 10% discount.) There is no other keyboard with tactile feel/click sound as that keyboard. The wrist rest is amazing. The software sucks, but anyone using Razor knows that. Still the Razer Huntsman V2 imo is the best keyboard on the market that I have found. And this comes from someone reluctant to try razor products. If nothing else, order 1 of each and return the one you dislike more!

I also have and like huntsman v2. Is huntsman v2 part of this deal? I don't see it.

I use this to game on couch. It's nicely built and have good weight. Found on amazon open box around $50. We had 3 units total getting moderate usage and one didn't last a full year which got warranty replacement.

With that said, $60 is reasonable. However, there are so many similar form factor keyboards on amazon under $40. Buy one with swapable keys.

I have a Razer wireless keyboard. Would not recommend it. Was replaced under warranty for double clicking keys. Replacement battery only lasts maybe 10 minutes. It's essentially a wired keyboard now.

Thanks for the input. I just grabbed a Razer Tartarus Pro earlier in the week (unrelated to this deal) but I'm not yet convinced on that one. I'll grab the Huntsman V2 and see if it's more to my liking. Who knows, maybe I'll end up keeping both.

If I use Razer Huntsman V2 as a day-to-day work keyboard just for typing, is it still a good choice, or is a mechanical keyboard better?

I've had multiple razer products in the past. I slowly stopped buying them. The wireless ones have all failed on me.
Cannot remember the exact name, but I had a chroma mouse. Wireless failed. It wasn't even bluetooth, so ended up being a wired mouse, then it started to lag. Maybe it was a synapse issue.

Had another mouse with bluetooth and USB connection. For some reason, when my computer goes to sleep, I have to unplug and plug back in the USB.

I had razer earbuds. One of the buds doesn't work. Sound only comes from right bud.

The only product that still works is a mechanical keyboard that is wired.
I gave it to my kid.

Slowly over time I ended up with all Logitech products.

This keyboard would be perfect to carry around, but I am afraid to buy it due to my past experience.

Did I just have a run of bad luck with Razer.
Does anyone have more experience; if so, please share.

I'll never buy another Razer product. The mouse I bought for my work computer couldnt be used because it was flagged as malware. It needed like a dozen permissions in order to use it, including full disk access. Effing ridiculous just to use a mouse.

I bought an earlier version of this keyboard from Woot a while back and one key was double-typing out of the box. Based on this experience, I don't think I'll be buying a Razer product from Woot for a long time.
