I found this online at Microcenter under sale/clearance. When adding to cart, it sold out locally, but was able to have a BestBuy rep price match for me. I know it's the 8gb version which can be problematic, but felt it was worth it for my needs. Hope this helps!

You see not every PC with a video card is a main gaming PC some people have multiple PC's for different purposes than a main gaming PC and smart people don't buy a 5090 when a 5060 Ti will do all that is needed!

Binary thinking. There's a difference between a 2K card and this, I'm just saying spend a little more because current gen AAA games will make this card struggle already

  • Even for a main gaming PC for someone on a budget So like 4 newer games out of how many Steam games are adversely affected by the 8GB vram? Some of those few affected games like Monster Hunter Wilds is reported to have performance issues generally. Some users reported high-end RDNA4 cards (9060XT/9070XT) encountering frame drops or stuttering. Monster Hunter Wilds is demanding, and some users reported that even with a strong card, you may experience frame drops and stuttering so the issue is not only the VRAM but a poorly optimized game by lazy developers. Many games like Cyberpunk 2077 look great and run great on 8gb cards which shows that it is more of a lazy developer issue than an VRAM issue! With RAMagedden going on developers are going to have to fix their games to run better on lower VRAM hardware for the next few years unless they want to stick to a small customer base!

LOL, you can fUtUrE PrOoF for $600 or game now for $340. By the time you get to that future hopefully those 16GB cards will be reasonable again (then you'll be saving up for a 24GB card) . Or worst case you drop down shadows to "high" as opposed to ultra when you are gaming at 1440....first world problems Wink

*all while dude is probably rocking a 2060.

What is a "little more?" Double? Personally my 5060 (non Ti) handles gaming just fine at 3440x1440. All ultra most of the time. I don't game in the "future" though.

And news flash, not every setting has to be a ultra on everything. Honestly I'd be really surprised if your rig could even handle 1440p / ultra 100% of the time if you are shopping for a 5060Ti. No hate, I'm not rocking a $3000 PC either. But I'm also not asking at the Honda dealership what's the 0-60 on this 4 cylinder....

BTW, "binary thinking" is acting like games can only be enjoyable at max everything....completely arbitrarily, just because the setting is there. Heck, some people play at low settings and still have a blast....I sure did back in the day.
