Astro Bot is a charming PS5 platformer that feels like a modern Mario style adventure, with standout polish, strong replay appeal, and plenty of free DLC levels. The game keeps players coming back, works especially well for younger or newer gamers, and even shines as a family playthrough. The main knocks are its short length, lack of difficulty settings, and a few platinum chase levels that can frustrate. It is also rarely on sale, though the listed price has shown up differently for some accounts.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. It's described as one of the best PS5 experiences, a fantastic platformer, and a game worth full price; at $33 it's considered an especially good value. It also rarely goes on sale, so this discount stands out.
It's pretty short and can be 100% completed in about a month for most adults. Replay value is limited once everything is found, though the free DLC levels add more content.
Yes. It's compared to Mario and LittleBigPlanet in audience, and younger or very new gamers are expected to enjoy it. It also works well as a family game.
Not necessarily. The price was later reported as $45, so the $33 deal may have expired or changed by account or retailer.
No, it has no difficulty settings. Most adults can still finish and 100% it, but a few levels can be frustrating if you're chasing the platinum.
