EDIT: Half asleep. Was thinking this was price for the 990F not the 900F.

To me, sound bar is just a sound bar. A bunch of speakers crammed into a tight box.

Sorry Fuschia (terrible color) this is a pretty good deal. I recently purchased this soundbar (refurbished) for $548. Oh BTW, it pairs well with the Samsung SWA-9500s satellite speakers.

I honestly have this bar, and I love it. as I mentioned above, I did buy the satellite rears, but ended up selling them for more than I paid, I just couldn't find a perfect placement for them as my couch is against wall, and such. so ultimately just used the bar. but it sounds really good, and has a good sound. artificial surround or not, it sounds good. even water from rain, can sound like its coming from above and such.

I have the Q-800. Not impressed. Not disappointed either.

I also have Samsung tv's and they use the speakers of the tv in conjunction if it helps at all. I t think the subwoofer on this picture looks a little bigger than the one that came w my tv. I purchased them like 2 years ago give or take. I paid 400-500 for mine, which im happy with. and I bought the smaller one with sub for my upstairs tv. happy with both options.

Purchased this last May and added the 9500S rears and IMHO it is awesome. Is it the ultimate surround sound system of course not. But for the price, I find it to be absolutely insane. Sure wish I would've got it for this price, but I've had it for almost a year so I guess that's how things work.

I will admit that when I had just the sound bar before the rear speakers arrived I thought it was very good, but I was a little bit disappointed in its ability to simulate surround sound, which is why I added the Atmos rear speakers to it.

after looking at slick deals post, it looks like the one I bought clearance at 374. darn! would of saved another 120. its fine though, its a good bar for us.

I just couldn't get them to sound great/perfect. couch being against the wall, I had them facing towards us, and then wall mount dhtem at an angle, etc. tried everything, even adjusted the settings, it was either too in your face, or not good enough. I decided to ultimately sell them. on the few things I did get to sound good, it was seriously amazing. like YouTube surround test etc.
if I had a standard room, with couch not against wall, would of ran them all day. but I couldn't get it to fit in my couch against wall placement where I loved the sound
