There's nothing better for this price at this time.

Anker Soundcore Boom V2 comes across as a loud, bass-heavy outdoor Bluetooth speaker built for pool days, river floats, and backyard use. The built-in handles, waterproof design, floating ability, and all day battery life fit that role well, and two units can sync for stereo and wider coverage. Sound quality is praised for punch, but vocal clarity and midrange detail are described as muddy, especially indoors. It also appears to lack a 3.5 millimeter line in jack, so it is a better fit for wireless, outdoor listening.

I checked this out in warehouse and it seems to be a pretty good BT speaker. I've got a glut of them so no need but if you are looking for something like this, it's a good option

If you get two, they can sync for stereo like most higher end speakers do. They sound really good.
Strangely, they don't even mention this on Costco's page, but they really do.

Curious... Which speakers do you own? Which brands and models?

It has decent enough bass, but sound quality is very very much lacking. For comparison, if I play an audiobook through this vs a small, cheap palm-sized Chinese speaker, the small speaker sounds loud and crisp, but obviously lacking in bass. This speaker will bring the boom, but the voice clarity is muddy even if you change the mode to reflect what you want.

For most use cases, this won't matter to many. Just thought I'd toss it out there.

If we're understanding your words- you're saying the sound stage lacks mid range & brightness/ highs from only using a single lower frequency driver?
I appreciate knowing this since I was just about to ring myself up...

Great buy at $75, even if clarity is a little behind other speakers. For the volume, bass, waterproof, and floating ability, it's great. Take it with you to float a river and have no worries at all with it.
