They work exceptionally well for water bottles, particularly for tumblers used for coffee. They effectively remove any stains left behind after washing the inside of the cup. I've tried using Dawn's Power Wash to remove the stains, but it was unsuccessful. I dropped a tablet filled with water inside the tumbler and let it sit overnight. In the morning, I agitated the inside of the cup, and all the stains were gone.
