I can use this to barter with some AI death bot in a few years, nice price. Wish it had a normal outlet but it's going to have in a pinch

I do agree on the AC outlet but also for this size of battery unit I don't think I would be using it for anything that would require it. The flexibility would be nice at least, even if it would probably mostly be charging my portable devices and lights.
Seems like a very good deal for this model and you can add solar panels to it which is nice. Does fall into a bit of an odd niche though, where it's both too small and too big in some ways.

Thinking about this to power a portable cooler. I current use a similar sized Jackery but it's NMC and I'm worried about keeping it inside a hot car in the 115F+ summers. I know LiFePO4 is safer, but thoughts?

I bought this exact power station for my trip from Texas to California. LiFePO4 is safer but it's still somewhat dangerous. I didn't place it properly during the first day of my trip and it fell over covering one side with the vents so got hot pretty quickly. I was monitoring the battery and when it got too hot I shut it off in cycles. It runs cooler if you are not using the bypass (used a cig lighter adapter). It can run well by itself for a few hours with a Bodega 53qt dual zone cooler.

Oh yeah! I couldn't remember why I avoided this model when I was looking for a medium sized device previously. THAT was the reasoning.

I keep a river 3 all the time in my back seat all the time. It is hooked up to a small fridge and the cigarette lighter. I've never had any issues.

I think I had the vents blocked when it fell over. When I was able to stop and secure it properly it was fine later. It could also be my paranoia when it got well over 115 degrees I got concerned and felt it was too hot to keep running so I cycled it.

Looks like on other sites it doesn't come with the 100w charger which is a nice added value as well.
