These DEWALT concealer goggles are valued for full coverage and a sturdier feel than sunglass style safety glasses, with enough room to wear over prescription glasses. They are also useful for short cutting jobs and other flying debris, and the storage case is worth adding. The main drawback is fogging, which is repeatedly described as poor or nonexistent in real use, especially during longer wear or with a dust mask. Fit can also be tight on wider or larger faces, and the lenses scratch fairly easily.

  • people who can manage fog with a product or technique (like wiping soapy water on the lenses or using an anti-fog cloth) because commenters shared workarounds that help reduce fogging.

  • people who need full-coverage eye protection for tasks like weed-wacking because this goggle style helps stop tiny pebbles and debris from getting up under standard safety glasses.

  • DIYers who want to wear safety goggles over prescription glasses because one commenter bought them specifically for that and said they're comfortable for long wear with no fog issues.

  • short cutting sessions where you can take the goggles off between steps because one user said they don't use them for extended durations and they work well for their quick cutting while still providing full coverage.

  • people who need true anti-fog performance while wearing them continuously because multiple commenters said they fog up within minutes (including within 10 minutes) or only stay anti-fog for a very short time.

  • people who expect the goggles to be scratch-resistant because commenters reported they scratch fairly easily and can fog unless you periodically take them off.

  • people who wear a normal dust mask with these goggles because one commenter said they don't work well when paired with any normal dust mask.

  • people with wider/larger faces who need a good seal because commenters said these are uncomfortable, don't seal well on wider faces, and only fit small to medium heads.

  • people who need a good fit on Asian faces because one commenter said these do not fit "Asian" faces at all.

  • people who want anti-fog to work while in use because at least one commenter said the anti-fog only works when not wearing the goggles and the description doesn't state it works while in use.

One of the easiest way to make goggles not fogged up is to wipe some soapy water on the glasses.

I've used these for several years. They've NEVER been anti-fog, so I'm not sure why they try and market them that way. IF you have some decent wind, they'll stay fog-free, but on a dead-air day, they're definitely going to fog up on you. They also scratch fairly easily. But I haven't found any other full-coverage goggles like these that I like better.

Definitely safer than sunglass type safety glasses, but mine do get fogged up.

Discount is not deal worthy in my opinion. I also prefer larger ones in case I need my glasses under them and dont really need them to be fully sealed all around unless I'm trying to protect eyes from dust and debris falling from above. Those big lab goggle lookin ones are my favorites but good ones hard to find.
I actually bought these specifically to go over my glasses, and they work great. They're comfortable to wear for a long time, and I've never had any issues with fog. I like them enough I bought a second pair to keep with my tools inside, and I also wear them with my motorcycle helmet because I have fog issues with the face shield there.

I think $10 is actually the regular price, not $13, but I'm super happy with them.

I have had tiny pebbles or various stuff richochet off my cheek, while using the weed wacker sometimes. I wear protective glasses, but once in a while something does fly up under the glasses. This goggle style would be more protective. You only get one set of eyeballs in your lifetime, protect them well !

I've had two incidents this winter with stuff flying behind my standard safety glasses and it was a bit scary. Both times eye doctor said Im ok. Im still worried about stuff getting into the vent holes of this though.
