These DEWALT concealer goggles are valued for full coverage and a sturdier feel than sunglass style safety glasses, with enough room to wear over prescription glasses. They are also useful for short cutting jobs and other flying debris, and the storage case is worth adding. The main drawback is fogging, which is repeatedly described as poor or nonexistent in real use, especially during longer wear or with a dust mask. Fit can also be tight on wider or larger faces, and the lenses scratch fairly easily.

  • The goggles can provide more protection than sunglasses-style safety glasses during debris-heavy tasks.

  • The goggles can fit over prescription glasses comfortably for long wear without fog issues.

  • The goggles can work well for short cutting sessions when they are flipped on and off.

  • The storage case can be worth getting for keeping the pair protected.

  • The lenses can scratch fairly easily, which can reduce clarity over time.

  • The anti-fog performance can fail quickly, with fogging occurring within about ten minutes while wearing.

  • The anti-fog feature may only work when the goggles are not being worn.

  • The goggles may not seal well on wider or larger faces, which can reduce comfort and anti-fog effectiveness.

The trick to make the anti fog work is to not wear them. The anti fog works perfect as long as I'm not wearing the goggles. It doesn't say anywhere in the product description that the anti fog works while in use

Thanks for all the comments. I'm looking for something that's truly anti-fog and that you can wear some kind of a dust mask with. Thank you for the post.

Just make sure you get some hearing protection as well. Hearing loss really sucks!

Just depends on the job. I used to tell my crews to grab a handful of the disposable ones to at least have something on hand. We of course used something a little more robust for extremely loud tasks with prolonged exposure. The key is to use something. Don't make excuses and end up like me. Tinnitus and hearing loss makes everyday life more difficult.

I have yet to find the secret anti-fog button on these, but they are good quality and much more substantial than the sunglasses style.
Pick up an optifog cloth. Reusable like 100 times.

These are definitely NOT anti-fog. They are also very uncomfortable on a wider or larger face where the nose bridge of the goggles doesn't quite touch my nose or seal around it. These goggles are only for small to medium sized faces and heads. You can make them anti-fog by using FogX (a RainX product) on the inside of the lens which works very well, but eventually it will collect enough condensation to start forming little droplets and obscure your vision. Harbor Freight goggles cost less and fit better for my larger face so I've tried every style they have and they all work the same or better at 1/2 to even 1/4 the price of these DeWalt goggles.

Discount is not deal worthy in my opinion. I also prefer larger ones in case I need my glasses under them and dont really need them to be fully sealed all around unless I'm trying to protect eyes from dust and debris falling from above. Those big lab goggle lookin ones are my favorites but good ones hard to find.

Paid 9.99 for these back on Oct 12, 2018 according to Amazon shopping history. Price checker also shows them at 9.99 or below regularly until 03/10/26. They are good glasses though (don't forget to get the storage case for them, worth the price). Surely not anti-fog though unless you take them off every few minutes to let them breath.
