This carpet cleaner stands out for deep cleaning carpets and pet messes, with repeated praise for its commercial feel, strong build, and ability to pull up dirt, grit, and stubborn stains. It is especially valued in homes with dogs or cats, and the Pet Pro version adds an upholstery tool and larger soap bottle. The main drawbacks are its weight and the effort needed for stairs or whole house use, plus a few reports of leaks or a faulty valve. A heavy duty pick for carpet owners who want serious cleaning power.

  • The cleaner can handle tough carpet jobs and leave carpets looking like new.

    MarioMaster

  • The pet-focused model can include an extra upholstery tool and a larger soap bottle.

    gck105

  • The machine can pull up dirt and grit even during spot cleaning between full-house shampoos.

    fhsasbvp

  • The cleaner can hold up for many years with dogs and repeated carpet use.

    doghairdontcare

  • The cleaner can leak from hose connections or from the bottom during first use or within warranty.

    brown3drlivingaboard

  • The deal purchase process can fail when required attachments are missing or when sign-in codes for credits do not arrive.

    Got-itNeoSlick

  • The cleaner can be heavy and exhausting for whole-house, top-to-bottom cleaning sessions.

    MarioMaster

  • The pet model can experience flow control indicator malfunctions that spray water unexpectedly.

I've owned Siberian Huskies for 13 years. This was what I would consider one of few absolute essential tools required for anyone with carpet regardless if they have dogs, but I especially must praise it for holding up all these years with the dogs.

How does this compare to the Revolution® HydroSteam® I bought from Costco?

I've rented the Lowe's version of this cleaner, and it was the best experience (used the Rug Doctor cleaner in the past) I've had with a rug cleaner. Worth the investment if you have carpeting. Sure wish it had a tile flooring adapter, but nope, it's not available, and Bissell does not recommended it for that use case.

I bought this before the deal was posted, it is a beast and build quality is excellent. No issues and it cleaned the carpet right up. We have four cats and a German Shepherd so it gets messy

This thing is worth every penny.

When my dog got a bladder infection and i didn't notice she was peeing in the house it SAVED my carpet. It smelled so bad because I didn't catch it for a couple days and I've straight stuck my nose in the spots where she would do it and this thing saved the day.

Best non-professional carpet cleaner you can get.

I bought this several years ago. Within the warranty period it started pissing water out the bottom. I took the covers off and found the metal solenoid type valve was cracked. It was in the house the entire time so it didn't freeze. I contacted Bissell and went back and forth with them about 5 times in emails and they f n refused to send me the valve even after I sent great closeup photos of the valve and a video they requested.
Absolute shit service. They wanted me to drive like 40 miles to an authorized repair place to see if it would be covered by warranty. I gave up and just ordered the valve off Amazon or something for around $20 or something like that.

Anyone know the lowest price history?
I think this is ideally the best price you can get bar any kind of cash back that may happen at some point/holiday. I had this marked sub $300 as a pull the trigger and ask questions later price. That was pre-tariff situation. I don't think you'll see it sub $300 anytime soon.

I decided to buy this; but not only is it $20 more to get the attachments, now Slickdeals points/credits are still a PITA to start up, even apart from sign in, and now it will not send the sign in code to my email that it clearly lists. Stupid. No sale. Fix the BS requirement to use another browser for the points credit thing, as this is not the first time I decide I can buy elsewhere. It's not worth the time.

Anyone else missing '(3) - 8 oz. PRO MAX Clean + Protect Formula' in their box? Mine only came with the machine and its hose.
