It's never been about length. It's about the warmth and satisfaction that it provides.

1 bulb per 3 ft kind-of sucks. But this is a get-what-you-pay-for type of scenario.

My experience with these types of solar lights has been they work great a couple of months and by next year you either have to replace the batteries to better ones that hold a charge longer or they end up in the trash.

Usually the one sell in Costco or Sams has 1 bulb every two feet. 52ft is more like a marketing gimmick.

These Brightown 52 foot solar string lights are a low cost LED set best suited for simple outdoor ambience. The bulbs are E12 base LEDs, the string has 15 bulbs, and the spacing works out to about one bulb every 3 feet, which makes the 52 foot label feel more like marketing than coverage. The lights are also rated at 0.15 watts per bulb, so the output is expected to be fairly dim. The solar panel can cloud over, and long term performance may depend on battery quality. A budget pick if you want warm accent lighting rather than bright coverage.

  • The lights use LED bulbs that do not disassemble, which can simplify handling during setup.

    BostonBatman

  • The installation guidance shows bulbs being screwed in and tightened, which can help ensure a secure connection.

    jkirkn

  • The lights specify an E12 base, which can make replacement or interchange easier with other E12-base bulbs.

    Slimeyface

  • The deal/app link reportedly worked flawlessly, which can reduce checkout friction when buying these lights.

    jenniferlarson2007

  • The string includes only 15 bulbs, which can leave wide spacing and a less full look.

    warmailMannyforever

  • Solar performance can drop after a couple of months, requiring battery replacement or leading to disposal.

    oSnapMillerTime

  • The solar panel can get cloudy and turn whitish, which may affect charging and brightness over time.

    Papathedudeman

  • The lights may be quite dim because they are rated at 0.15W per bulb.

They are leds. They don't disassemble.
The video literally shows them being screwed in and to make sure they are tight.

It even specifies "E12 base". So it's very likely they're interchangeable with others of that size.

With 4 or 3 feet of plug-in lead, that leaves 1 bulb every 3-3.06 feet.
