This is the older rearward sliding rails 12" saw from Wen. It requires a lot of space behind it to accommodate the rails.

The new 12" saw from them has the rails in the forward position with the saw sliding on them. It requires very little room behind the saw allowing you to put it almost up against a wall during use. Much more convenient. The best part? It's just $20 more.
