Although the listing says it's for the 258v it also mentions 16gb which wouldn't make sense. The product selection says it's 16gb RAM, so who knows which version you'll actually get.

I was wondering the same thing if this comes with 32gb ram the retail price suggests it might. I don't think this is the 256v based on the model number

The model number is for the 258v version yes. I just wish the rest of the info wasn't a random mess. It's hard to know what you'd actually receive. At 750 it's a good deal for the 258 but for the 256, not so much

Any advice on Ryzen 9 version of same laptop with 24 gb memory, and 3K screen. Is it better's than Ultra 7 in processing power. I know cost is higher but need to know where Ultra 7 and 9 stand against Ryzen 9. TIA

I have the 258V with 32GB RAM, was $694 refurb around BF - now it's $762 - I'm super happy with it, performs well, I run (2) 27" 4k monitors through a dock and use the laptop as a 3rd screen - battery is excellent when I'm not in the office, light weight, overall build quiality is good:
