Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Switch 2 is a big, flashy action RPG that still feels fun, with standout battles, summons, and the full remake experience. The main game lands well, though the story expansion is described as weaker than the core campaign. Storage is the biggest practical issue, since the download is large and the cartridge is treated like a key card, so a sizable SD card or digital purchase makes more sense. This edition also lacks the MTG pack that came with the Day One Edition, which makes the bundle less appealing.
Common Questions (4)
Yes, the game requires a download, so an SD expansion card is likely needed. If you plan to keep FF7 Remake, Rebirth, and other large games installed, a 512GB to 1TB card is the safer choice.
No. This Standard Edition does not include the MTG pack that came with the Day One Edition, so it is missing about $7 of bonus content compared with that version.
The game is described as very fun overall, with the main remake experience praised as awesome and enjoyable. The Intermission story expansion is described as weaker, but the base game still gets strong praise.
The thread raises this as an open question, but no comment confirms the access method. It is not answered in the discussion provided.
