here's a little rant on these.
first, to answer your question, these are good figures, and an insane deal for people already invested into this collection.
as a long time Mcfarlane collector, I hated the choice of making these 5 inch.
i would have loved to have a bunch of civilian 6 inch mcfarlane figures with civilian weapons.
I understood the switch to 5 incg though, at the time, the economy was still in recovery, mcfalane as a company was near bankrupt, and todd, the owner, didnt think people would want to pay more than 15 bucks for figures. so he made these smaller. it also served the second purpose that it allowed people to buy lots of zombies if they were cheaper.
as much as I hated the decision, it proved to be wildly popular. and this series actually sold spectacularly well. with mouthbreathers swearing that they prefered the 5 inch form factor as opposed to the 6 inch form factor.
anyways. i liked them but never bought them because of the smaller size and lower detail.
but then as the series was losing steam and people were moving on to something else, all the mouthbreathers that swore 5 inch figures were the superior factor, started getting rid of their collections, and they couldnt get rid of them fast enough. (they probably switched to collecting funko pops and declared that the superior form factor)
so, i then started buying these as lots, for a fraction of their original prices. so i collected quite a lot of these at bargain bin prices.
im going to pull the trigger on these bc at 3 bucks a pop, theyre a steal. that's what i used to buy them used for about 4 years ago, but for some reason prices are slowly going up again, so you cant really get a deal on them anymore on ebay.
I also like that they are very generic looking zombies, so they are good for building a zombie hoard.
as far as, would i recommend it to you? theyre a good novelty item for the price, but if youre not interested in collecting these, i would say pass.

I stopped reading when you claimed both "these are good figures" and "as a long time Mcfarlane collector"
