decent budget CPU (if you are adding a graphics card) is Ryzen 5 5500 for $69.99 at microcenter, includes a cooler
for a CPU with on-chip graphics, you might be able to snag a used 5500gt or even a (discontinued) 5600g for around a hundred bucks on eBay.
New 5500GT seems to run $130. 5600GT at $160 doesnt make much sense when you can get a used 5700G (8 core vs 6) around that cost. or used 3rd/4th gen ryzens if budget is tight
Too bad they've raised the price on AM4 processors (apart from the 4500, 5500) to over $140 on average. I'd pair this with a 5700X and some cheap DDR4 3200

Hate this is where we are at BUT for the chance to make her a lunchbox sized PC build and take that in my carry on when I go visit - yes please! Obviously YMMV we all have different needs and purposes
