This ECO-WORTHY setup is a 5.12 kWh, 48V backup system aimed at keeping critical loads running, especially lights, fridge, Internet, and a well pump. The inverter is described as supporting 240V split phase input and output, with installation typically handled through a transfer switch, interlock kit, or hardwire to a 50 amp breaker. The main limitation is runtime, since the battery is framed as short duration for heavier household loads and not suited to hot water heaters, dryers, or air conditioning for long. There is also concern that the inverter may only output 120V unless units are paired in parallel, so the voltage setup needs careful checking.
The system can be used with a power transfer switch box or hardwired to a 50A double breaker for outage backup.
The inverter charger supports 240V split-phase wiring with L1 120V, L2 120V, neutral, and ground.
The unit can run practical backup loads like lights, a fridge, clocks, and a TV during outages.
The unit can be set up as a UPS for a well pump, with bypass-mode recovery by flipping the grid breaker.
Battery runtime can be far shorter than a full-day whole-house backup, with guidance warning that hot water heater, stove, dryer, and AC loads drain capacity quickly.
The inverter is limited to about 5kW, so it cannot run high-demand appliances like a washer, dryer, or AC.
The inverter charger only supports 240V input from mains, which can limit compatibility with some setups.
Bypass-mode behavior can fail for a well pump, and flipping the grid breaker may be required to restore inverter mode.

Here is my "POWER TRANSFER SWITCH BOX or POWER INPUT BOX". Call whatever you want 😀:

Contact the eBay seller immediately — EcoWorthy has replaced units for this exact bypass issue when still under the 1-year warranty. Send them a short video of the display saying bypass + output voltage reading 0 V. Several people got free replacements.
Might want to add a soft start.
L1 = 120V
L2 = 120V
N = NEUTRAL
PE = GROUND
You could do "HARDWIRE" as well. Hardwire don't need power transfer switch box. You wired directly from INVERTER OUTPUT L1, L2, N, PE to electric panel DOUBLE BREAKER 50 AMP.
