I love these crazy brand names.. Ashgoob. On a separate note, one of the 1 star reviews scares me. The bearing broke, spilled oil and stained the floor. Hopefully that's a rare occurrence!

Yes. I have these on our herman Miller conference room chairs. Makes sure you don't have high nap carpet. We have low cut commercial carpet so it works fine. On concrete or vinyl/hard surface, these can scoot pretty fast compared to the stock dual wheel hard plastic wheels

There are other no name brands that look identical, with just as good reviews, for the same price without coupon.

Seems like a markup made to look like a deal.

Are these wheels of any brand or type worth it. I am concerned the chair will roll too well but I would like them to protect my floor.

Do these types of wheels stop my chair from fading the wood floors?

I use similar wheels directly on real hardwood floors and they do not scuff or damage the floor.

Considering you can see the bearings I don't know about oil "spilling out". Bearings like those found in chair wheels are typically greased for longevity. I suppose it the individual bearings were to fall out then the grease could stain your floor. 4.7 rating is exactly the same as the Office Owl brand I bought 5 years ago and they are still working just fine, look identical too. I paid $27 in Jan 2021 so this looks pretty slick. I like how smooth these roll compared to the typical hard plastic double wheels that come stock on even the priciest of office chairs.

Yes they certainly do "scoot pretty fast"! I replaced the casters on my HON chair with a set similar to these, and I have to grip my chair while sitting down or the back of my legs wil knock the chair out from under me! It was quite the surprise the first time it happened! 🤣🙃

If you have thick carpeting in your home office, you can install these on your chair and place a large piece of plexiglass under the chair. The rubber wheels stop the chair from scuffing up the plexiglass. The plexiglass keeps the chair from sinking into the carpet.

I've owned multiple pairs of these, and these wheels can have difficulty changing direction due to the inherent friction from all the weight being placed on a single piece of rubber contacting the floor.

Instead, I highly recommend taking a look at the versions that have dual independently spinning wheels per wheel. You still get all the benefits of these rollerblade wheels plus they change direction without issue.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09X4LH5HK - slightly smaller wheel size (I needed a piston shim for my Steelcase Leap V2)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DVH7YKBV - larger wheel size

I have a low pile, high density room nylon rug, and it's pretty dense but it's for home, not office floormat style, and I bought two of these sets assuming I might replace both my chairs, but honestly these don't make a huge difference, and now you have cheap $2 wheels on your $500 chair. I plan to swap them back just so I don't lose the original wheels. These are probably great for office carpeted floors.

What others said about changing direction is another major problem too.

We just talk about these things but kinda gonna go to waste since this and similar deal will be posted 100 times with different random brand names.

These look similar to the TICONN's I bought for my Herman Miller Aeron. Difference was night and day. Since mine were $24 new, I'm going to guess that these are similar quality. They should roll pretty smoothly and the height difference from the stock ones was really nice.

I have bought 3 (similar) sets of these over the years for replacing the crappy plastic wheels on office chairs and they are fantastic. They roll so much better and swivel smoothly compared to the plastic wheels. However, and to the comment about the bearings, I have had one set (so far) where the bearings began randomly falling out onto the floor. At first I would notice a little BB on the office floor and think nothing of it. Then a lot more bearings showed up on the floor (which was puzzling) and eventually the chair wasn't rolling right and I finally put two and two together.
The other 2 sets seem to be holding up - but that bearing thing is real (there was no oil in my bearing case - just bearings.)
