I bought this last time it came up. Yes, blacks are perfect but the colors actually sucked. The matte screen surface really hurts it with that lower brightness. The 2017 Dell IPS I had next to it crushed it in clarity and saturation.
The biggest deal breaker though was the text fringing. It was absolutely terrible. I returned it. Clunky screen menu too but at least the firmware updates were easy. This is one of those gaming only monitors.

I mean most reviewers when comparing oled to mini-led they are in pitch black room anyways so you wouldn't want 1000nits blasting in a cave...
