The 1Mii Y8+ stands out as a budget pair of wireless headphones with active noise canceling, LDAC, transparency mode, app EQ, and even multipoint Bluetooth for phone and laptop use. At around $20, the feature set and battery life look unusually strong, and comfort gets praise for movies and TV, with ANC helping on travel and everyday noise. Sound quality is the main tradeoff, with bass, mids, and treble described as uneven or hollow. Wired AUX use is possible, but ANC does not work in wired mode.

Common Questions (4)

  • The code worked at the deal price earlier, but later comments say it expired or no longer worked and the sale price rose to $29.98. If the code is dead, the lower ~$20 total is no longer available.

  • For music, the bass and overall tuning are reported as weak, with hollow mids/highs even after EQ. For movies and TV, they can work well, with comfort and ANC standing out more than audiophile sound quality.

  • It can be used with an AUX cable, but ANC is not supported in wired mode. That means you can listen passively over cable, but you lose the noise-canceling feature unless you use Bluetooth.

  • Yes. The headphones have an app with multiple EQ presets, transparency mode for hearing outside sounds, and multipoint Bluetooth so they can stay connected to a phone and laptop at the same time.

Just received mine. Besides the ANC, these are definitely $20 headphones. Bass is decent, but mid and treble are really lacking. I'll keep them for air travel so I won't worry about breaking or losing them. Otherwise, there are better sounding pairs at this price point if you don't care for ANC.

I just got mine and so far I'm happy with them. The ANC is reasonable and I like that it has transparency mode that I can turn onto to hear people better when needed. The initial sound profile is not too impressive, but if you download the app, you have multiple equalization settings to choose from. Once I chose one that did what I liked, the sound is pretty decent for me. I also wore them while taking out my garbage to an outside garbage can while my phone was inside the house and I was impressed that the Bluetooth connection did not drop it all (just about all previous headsets that I had would drop their connection). Finally, I discovered quite by accident that these are multiport Bluetooth connection compatible, and therefore I can have it connected to my phone and my laptop at the same time. All these features bundled together into a unit that it also has extremely long battery life make this a definite deal/steal for me.

Upon second review, attempting to listen to music with these, they are just terrible. Hollow notes, even with a properly configured EQ. I don't know what I'm going to use them for. I don't care if they've got ANC if the sound quality is so lackluster. I mean maybe audiobooks would work better? I don't know man, I am not even an audio snob. They're just not good.

So I received mine and I am impressed. Is it lacking in high's and low's... maybe. I purchased these to watch movies/TV and I find them perfect.

I am surprised at how comfortable these are and how well the noise cancelling works.

It's on sale now for $29.98 but sadly the promo code no longer works. Would've been nice to get an extra $6 off the $20 promo price but no such luck.
