Speed is 300M for both upload and download. Autopay is required to get the discount.
I have used Fios for more than 10 years and never had major outages. Occasionally, I need to reboot my router, but that might be a router issue.

I did this last and ended up landing a student discount which gives an additional $10 discount for 12 months. As for the gift card, you have to wait 2-3 months before you can apply to redeem it .

Yup my FIOS service is incredible and I honestly feel lucky to get 300mbps up/doen for $45/mo. It is amazing service.

I have had FIOS 300M for $40/mo for years and it has been reliable and fast. I get 320Mbps regularly on fast.com and speedtest.net so I think they cap it a little higher than 300 just so noone complains. Also one thing you don't get from cable internet is upload bandwidth. With FIOS you get 300M upload as well so you can host a minecraft server or have a whole household playing games online and upload bandwidth does not cause an issue. With cable internet you get maybe 10Mbps upload which really is not sufficient.

I thought FiOS is shit until i replaced their router with Ubiquiti Dream Router 7. I had 100% stability since then 310/340 and stable ping.

Go chat with them, a few months ago I worked them over and at the EOD I told them I would just leave and they matched the deal and a $100 GC. If they don't do it, do what I used to do in the past and cancel and set it up in my wifes name, and the next year swap to mine. Of if you get a competing offer, you know this is old skool negotiation.
I combined this new $29 (for gig btw) rate and $15 off on visible, I don't think I am paying $400 for the year for gig and full visible pro+.

VZ is surprisingly competitive this past year. NGL, it sort of matches their stance with their wireless; they are playing while on the backfoot and will throw money, swag, and guaranteed rate freezes at you without much effort.

They give out random $10 off per month, sometimes $15, if you just log into your account or just threaten to cancel (YMMV). You can also stack with one of their wireless companies to get another $15 off. Considering that Total Wireless is just $20 a month for an unlimited...that aint bad. I pay $65 a month for gigabit. In September ill cancel and see what other new stuff I can get

Ive cancelled and reupped three times in a row now for the max gains. I have a Series X, two Series S xboxes, a plethora of giftcards, a samsung tablet, and a moca adapter.
