Good novelty item and collectible. Plays Atari games both 7800 and original. Atari games hold up terribly though.

Most Atari games were bad back in the day. But when you bought a game with all your money you played it and mastered it because that's what we did.

I wonder why the controller for the pac man edition seems to have worse reviews than the non-pacman version.

Perhaps it's due to the regular 2600+ having wired controllers and the Pac-Man 2600+ having wireless. Some Pac-Man 2600+ reviews complain about controller lag. I have not experienced it with the wireless joystick though. Also the controller (wired or wireless) is pretty stiff at first, which some reviewers say makes games like pac-man with precise cornering more difficult to play. I don't have pac-man so I can't confirm that. (I have the regular 2600+ and bought a separate wireless controller.)
