6K43FJG9 still seems to work, but I had to click Apply 3 times
Then, I added this one to my cart and applied this new code and it worked fine.
I'm glad this one popped up (again?) as this was the model I wanted out of the 3 or 4 that have been posted on SD the past week or so.
seems like this is the all-the-time price for the thermomaven now, so i think i can afford to wait and see.

For context on my opinion, my priorities are accurate temperature and an app that works.
Inkbird was garbage. The probes were reasonably accurate, but pairing and using the app rarely worked. Admittedly this was a while ago (2022) but the app reviews... still look really bad.
ThermoPro app reviews look good and the company is really broadly appreciated... but I don't think any of their current offerings have WiFi. It sounds stupid but WiFi greatly enhances probe connectivity and distance in my experience.
The reason I don't like exclusively bluetooth systems is because -- in my experience -- even if you wander a little out of range with your phone, Chaos Ensues. At minimum it was a hassle to re-connect, sometimes I'd lose all cooking history, alarms would stop working, etc. Bluetooth is fickle and basically I lost trust pretty quickly. A good WiFi probe, on the other hand, works pretty flawlessly because the base station is communicating with your WiFi router/hub which is probably not moving around. WiFi to me is about getting a consistent and stable connection.
I've used this a handful of times. The temp probes for measuring meat temp are very accurate (and they are NIST-certified), the connectivity has been flawless, app works great and refreshes fast and often, alarms have never had a problem, and the estimated finish times are both helpful and usually pretty accurate. I like that the base has a built in temperature reading too for quick glances.
This temperature probes measure ambient temp (moderately okay) and like 5 different locations in the meat per probe which idk feels like overkill for sure but is also pretty neat and dorky.
One thing about the product listing is it says "Probes charge 2 min for 2 hours work" -- I think that's to say "hey if you need to charge it quick, 2 minutes gets you 2 hours". The actual battery life of a fully charged probe has been at least 6 hours for me, and they still showed a healthy charge.
