I think this is a very nice deal - I got this same set for $299 3 years ago and it's great for me.

Question for those familiar, how is the power on these new tool sets (in general, but I do have Ryobi and Ridgid) circular saws? I have an old 1st gen. Ryobi 7in that even when paired with my newer 4A 18v ryobi batteries it does not have enough power to cut through anything more than a 3/8in board. Because of that I just use my full size corded Hitachi. Do these new ones utilize the power better?

Circular saw is underwhelming and sucks lot of power. I still use my corded DeWalt to break down plywood.
