I have the 85 inch QD7 and I believe this is a solid TV! Make sure and keep the backlight and brightness down to turn down the backlight. The higher the brightness on this set the washed and gray the blacks get. It will take away some of the shadow detail once you lower brightness, but the picture is much much better, The blacks are not oled black, but overall the picture is great. This is certainly an 8.5 out 10. The brightness for this mini led and white balance is much better than oled. I am also very impressed with FireTV. Much better than I expected as I do not have the need to connect AppleTV for smartTV features needed.

Also consider the Hisense U6 100" at Costco for $1299 in store with 5 year warranty. It has a matt screen and works much better with reflections in my living room.
