This shouldn't matter to the great majority of trainees. Serious deadlifters will find that it throws their alignment off a tiny bit as the bar starts closer to the floor.
Of course, you can couple them alongside standard size bumper plates and then it won't be an issue.

It's actually nice for deadlifts/trap bar as you can leave your bumpers on there and then just slide these on and off.

In OP's link, the 45's are cheaper, but on the 2nd link, all other sizes are cheaper. Title, photos, and descriptions on both pages seem identical, so I'm confused as to why there are separate pages & different prices.
Would it be a decent deal to do 1 set of the 45's from OP's link, and then 1 set of each of the smaller sizes from the 2nd link if I'm looking to build up a set of matching weights?
(I'm just after basic workouts and fitness, not looking to work towards any personal records or anything extreme)
It's actually nice for deadlifts/trap bar as you can leave your bumpers on there and then just slide these on and off.
Just be careful if you are rough on the descent and have only 1 pair 45lb bumpers, then these. That's a lot of weight for the 45s to support.
I don't drop the bar any more and typically try controll the excentric 'cause I've found I hurt myself far less.
