lol fair. I know this is only for 5% of PC gamers, but imo it's a good price for the specs with AI prices today :/

its not a 5090, because thats godly expensive lol. but I snagged a scar 17 with 7945hx3d and 4080 32gb 2tb, for 825 dollars at microcenter before tax. but due to clearance pricing, I only get a 90 day warranty from asus, lame.

How is this even a good deal and being upvoted? Because a staff member posted it? This was almost $600 cheaper JUST a month ago, not even during BF or holiday season, so the increased RAM price excuse can't stand: https://slickdeals.net/f/19194706-acer-predator-helios-ai-16-qhd-240hz-oled-intel-ultra-9-275hx-rtx-5090-32gb-ddr5-2tb-ssd-2749-99?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arecent%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse
And it's been cheaper multiple times before that too:
1- https://slickdeals.net/f/19006312-acer-predator-helios-ai-16-qhd-240hz-oled-intel-ultra-9-275hx-rtx-5090-32gb-ddr5-2tb-ssd-2699-99?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arecent%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse
2- https://slickdeals.net/f/19004068-acer-16-predator-helios-ai-gaming-laptop-16-2560-x-1600-240-hz-oled-display-intel-core-ultra-9-24-core-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5090-32gb-ddr5-2tb-pcie-ssd-1tb-1tb-2799-99?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arecent%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse
And on top of that, all these postings didn't get upvoted as much when those were indeed great prices, but now a way higher price is.

thx for keeping up, Doc. I was super close to pulling the trigger on the woot 18" msi a couple months ago. I've been watching your posts for a couple years now. much appreciated. I think maybe these updates are due to the retailer (costco)/lack of any 5090 laptops for a bit?

Because this place has become an absolute JOKE. Many of us are tired of having to "smack down" these "Slickdeals" that are anything but. Thank you for trying to prevent people from throwing away their money but I believe it's a lost cause here.
