If you really interested in these glasses, I suggest visiting manufacturer's website and read description of their lenses, because each lens color (even on same model of glasses) will have different tint and darkening rating, and is for different use cases.
I have bought from Eyedictive previously, and they have a good CSR and return policies. The company is fantastic. One of their representatives actually posts on here (or at least used to). The last time I bought from them were Serengeti sunglasses, and I promptly returned them. These are not the same quality as you get at major sunglasses retailers. I am quite sure there are many different levels of sunglasses each company makes and the ones that Eyedictive sells are the lower quality glasses. Think plastic frames, odd shapes, light weight, etc. Even the rep on here admitted to this in a previous post. These sunglasses are legit but they are budget versions. I would only use them for travel or weekends where I do not care to lose them.
Community Reviews
Serengeti Odell sunglasses here look like a budget version of the brand, with the main appeal being legit Serengeti styling and, on some models, substantial metal frames and glass lenses. Mineral glass versions are especially praised for their weight, feel, and durability, while the lens description matters because tint and darkening ratings vary by color and use case. The main caution is that some listings use Saturn plastic or polycarbonate lenses that scuff easily and may not match the photochromic expectation. A solid option if you want to check the exact lens material first.
Common Questions (4)
They can be legit Serengeti, but the pairs sold here are described as lower-tier versions than major sunglass retailers, with lighter-weight plastic frames and odd shapes. Some previous purchases from this seller were metal-framed with glass lenses and felt substantial, so the exact build can vary by model and lens option.
Yes, mineral glass is the safer pick if available. Mineral glass has more weight and a more substantial feel, while Saturn proprietary plastic lenses can scuff easily and may make vision seem out of focus.
The photochromic claim is questioned here: photochromic lenses should change from clear to sunglasses under UV exposure, but these are described as not doing that. Check the exact lens description before buying if you want true light-reactive lenses.
Read the manufacturer's lens description for the exact color, because even within the same model the tint and darkening rating can differ by lens option and intended use. That matters if you want a specific level of darkness or photochromic behavior.

Do I think they are a good company? Yes. Would I buy from them? No, because they are lesser quality. The company is not the problem. It's the glasses. If you need more data, just read SD posts, even ones in this trail or other. Google is your friend.
