Community Reviews
This 14 egg cooker is mainly about hands off batch cooking, with a built in timer beep and automatic shut off called out in the manual. It handles hard boiled eggs well, and the included measuring cup pin makes the water step easy. The cooker is also used for egg salad and potato salad prep, and the compact setup saves stove space and monitoring time. The main cautions are that doneness depends on water level and timing, and the hot plate can look rusty or marred unless cleaned with vinegar.
Common Questions (5)
No, the instructions say poking a hole is not necessary. The included measuring cup has a built-in pin if you want to use it, but several users treat that step as optional rather than required.
Users report filling the measuring cup close to the top rather than relying on the printed lines to avoid jammy eggs. Typical timing mentioned is about 11:30 to 14 minutes for hard-boiled eggs, with longer cooking pushing yolks toward sulfides.
Yes. The manual on the product page says it still has auto shut-off, and the cooker also has an audible done beep. That matters because it can finish cooking without constant watching, unlike cookers that only cycle on and off silently.
The hot plate can show rust-like marks or mineral buildup after use. White vinegar removes it quickly, and some users also clean it with soap and water or a little oil.
It can save time and effort because you load the eggs, add the included water, and come back when the timer ends instead of watching a pot on the stove. It is also useful for making larger batches for egg salad or potato salad, and it works well in a camper or small kitchen.

It works ok I'd say. I ignore the lines on the water cup, and use the measuring cup to fill to close to the top, otherwise my eggs come out jammy instead of hard boiled.
One issue I have is the hot plate tends to rust / mar everytime I use it. Sometime I try to clean it with a little oil, other times just soap and water and it mostly comes off ok.
It's not perfect, but decent enough.
Agree with above, when done using, pour some white vinegar on it. Boils right off with hardly any work.
