Man I remember when we waited for deals like this on the bigger tough system boxes. The camels indicate this is a pretty good deal nowadays. Get off my lawn.

This looks fantastic. Currently I'm forced to have 2 toolboxes - and I NEVER remember which has what. In!

FYI, the last one I ordered, they reduced the size of the tray insert. I hated it, and returned it. (I already owned two with the full-size insert)

Don't forget the TSTAK system is compatible with the Craftsman VersaStack if you already have that too... The VersaStack rolling chest with the extender handle tends to be cheaper than the TSTAK, so I paired my TSTAK boxes like this with the VersaStack bottom. Great system, it works really well.

I have the style with yellow top that opens and allows small storage, only difference I can see, that inner tray drops down into box all the time, the only issue with these boxes. Lot of room, seems to handle the cold snaps, I used tools and carried mine around in -20F temps. I got the yellow one on sale for almost same price, it is a nicer box than this but this is decent size for larger tools, maybe good for small router and bits, or jigsaw n blades, etc.. it isn't good for carrying assortment of tools unless like to dig for things.

Does your fall to bottom all the time, I have the style with yellow top and its tray keeps falling into the box with about a pound of items in it.

This is great info. I bought TSTAK and TSTAK II components, not realizing they aren't compatible. Though they were on the same Amazon page... I'll check out the VersaStack, thanks!

Like I said, I own the original (?) version. Those full-sized trays have never fallen in because they cover the entire top. But, I could see how the smaller tray would fall in. It's a case of a manufacturer trying to improve something that never needed improvement, and making it worse.

Any radio nerds using these as radio go-boxes?
