The AFERIY P210 is generally considered a high-value, "budget" powerhouse. It offers some of the best specs for its price point (often found around $600–$800), but it achieves that price by cutting a few corners that might matter depending on what you're powering.

Here is the breakdown of whether it's "any good" for your specific needs:

### The "Good" (Why people buy it)
Massive Power for the Price: With a 2048Wh capacity and a 2400W inverter, it can run heavy appliances like kettles, hair dryers, and even some air conditioners—things that usually require much more expensive units from brands like EcoFlow or Jackery.

Modern Battery Tech: It uses LiFePO4 cells, which are the current gold standard. They are safer and last much longer (rated for 3,500+ cycles) than older lithium-ion tech.

Fast AC Charging: It can charge from a wall outlet at 1100W, meaning you can go from 0% to 100% in roughly 2 hours.

Solid Build & Design: It features a handy storage compartment on top for cables, sturdy handles, and a 7-year warranty (though you'll want to register the product to ensure coverage).

### The "Not So Good" (The trade-offs)
Voltage Sag: Some technical reviews have noted that the voltage can drop when the unit hit high surges. This usually isn't an issue for "dumb" appliances (heaters, lights), but it could potentially be risky for sensitive electronics or high-end PC builds.

Lower Efficiency: In some real-world tests, it has shown slightly lower efficiency than premium brands, meaning you might get a bit less than the full 2048Wh of usable power.

Mediocre App/Connectivity: While newer batches have app support, users often report the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection is "clunky" or "unfinished" compared to the polished apps from EcoFlow or Bluetti.

Weight: At 22kg (48.5 lbs), it's "portable" only in the sense that it has handles. You won't want to carry it more than a few yards without a trolley.

I bought this one at BF last year. It has great specs, but my unit had the issue that if you're just powering things on battery, it dropped and then reconnected the AC occasionally. Absolutely terrible for something advertised with a UPS function. In a simple test, I charged it fully, hooked up a TV and just let it drain until the battery ran out. In this test, it dropped the AC three times on the way down from 100% to almost nothing. I returned it; perhaps I got a dud that this behavior made it through testing made me lose a lot of trust in this brand.

I bought two last BF from Wellbots. $958 shipped. One is UPS for server and workstation. The other is for network equipment and security. They're working well. They even had the power cut off on them. It worked as expected. I was happy the charging current is adjustable. For the initial charge, I made the mistake of plugging two into the same socket. Major current draw kept tripping the breaker. I wrote to Aefriy support to register and get the free warranty extension. I also had a tech question. They responded and registered me.

Really a great price for the size. If I didn't get an EcoFlow last year, this would tempt me.

Could you mitigate risk of damage by using a power strip?

So this or the Segway cube 2000? For the most part I will be running a sound system with it. A couple of 250 rms full range speakers and a 600 rms 2400 peak subwoofer. This will be used on my 2.8 acres so it won't be going full blast, I have neighbors at every freakin angle. I doubt they want to hear I declare war self titled album clearly. MISERY CLOUD!
