No Amber glass may make oil rancid. There is a reason most olive oils are in dark bottles. That's my only concern

Lol. That's what he said. He said, "No amber glass may make oil rancid." It's strange wording. He should have said, "Not being amber glass may make oil rancid." Or maybe it was a typo and he meant to say, "non-amber." Either way, his second sentence made it clear (no pun intended) that this not being amber glass could be a bad thing.

My thought on this is we use the oil faster than it will take to turn. We also store our oil in the pantry, which has no UV light hitting it. But you are correct that clear glass is not ideal for storing food oils.

Interested in something like this to replace the aerosol cooking spray cans. Does this thing actually work well or does it get clogged and nasty easily?

We have little cheaper one in compare to this (plastic rather than metal). It's been a year and it's working good. We use the sprayer occasionally but pour the oil mostly daily for cooking

We purchased similar items from Amazon. 2 for $16. Works great and doesn't get messy at all. We have one for olive oil and for cooking oil. Using much less oil and getting great results in the air fryer.

What is so special about this compared to oil dispensers on Amazon for similar price of $9-$10? Just because of the inflated MSRP and accompanying coupon? Don't get duped into buying just because you think you are getting a sale. Even the other ones have: dark green bottle, anti-slip, and anti-clog for the same price.

I recently got something like this from Amazon for just $5 and honestly, it works so well! The oil doesn't stick to the glass like it used to with plastic or steel ones, which I love. I got both the spray and pour option together, and I'm super happy with it!! Finally found something that actually works great for oil! Definitely check out the cheaper ones on Amazon 😊
