No Amber glass may make oil rancid. There is a reason most olive oils are in dark bottles. That's my only concern

Lol. That's what he said. He said, "No amber glass may make oil rancid." It's strange wording. He should have said, "Not being amber glass may make oil rancid." Or maybe it was a typo and he meant to say, "non-amber." Either way, his second sentence made it clear (no pun intended) that this not being amber glass could be a bad thing.

What is so special about this compared to oil dispensers on Amazon for similar price of $9-$10? Just because of the inflated MSRP and accompanying coupon? Don't get duped into buying just because you think you are getting a sale. Even the other ones have: dark green bottle, anti-slip, and anti-clog for the same price.

don't fill it full of oil make sure is out of direct sunlight like against the wall. Shouldn't go rancid if it's used up before. But yeah no idea why isn't dark glass all the time for "oil".

I have a different one, they one they compare it to in the pictures. The only downside for me, is that I feel like I have more control with the aerosol due to the spray pattern. Aerosol is round and tight pattern. This one is wide and flat. I wish it had a different spray pattern but I still like it.

Main difference is materials look much better in this compared to all the other plastic caps but mot people prefer amber glass to keep oil from going bad. There is one from brand Gelibo that appears to be the same as this one with amber bottle, but it's $22. There are 2-packs at $16 from brands YARRAMATE, CXINYI and TrendPlain with plastic caps that look exactly the same (not same as this, but same among them) and all have good reviews, my guess is all of those came from the exact same factory.

I won't comment on this specific oil sprayer (or whether it's worth it over the other $8-10 ones), but I absolutely love my oil sprayer. It's great for a quick spray of oil on a pan before cooking, you can use it to pour when you need more, and overall I feel like I haven't had to use as much when I'm cooking with oil since I only need a quick spray. Even for things like fries coming out of the air fryer are better after a quick spray.
