This is a cheap clearance storage tote that stands out for its size and stacking usefulness, especially at the $2.20 price. The 28 quart tub is described as a solid bargain for moving, household storage, and even bulk buys, with enough room to grab multiple units when stock is available. The main catch is that availability is highly store specific, and the clearance price only seems to apply when the barcode and red sticker match the marked SKU. Yellow lid versions appear to be different SKUs and often ring up full price, so it is a good find when the right one is actually on the shelf.

  • The tote can be found at very low clearance pricing like $2.20 in some areas.

    shaffsloddo

  • The clearance deal can still be worthwhile even when some stores list the tote at $4.70.

    NYCSteelerdataplussystems

  • The lid color may be flexible when the tote barcode matches the clearance item.

    jeremylh56

  • The tote can work for storage tasks such as holding Terrible Towels with the correct lid type.

    bobwwii

  • Store inventory can be inaccurate, with locations showing stock but having zero units available.

    DexterJJacksondesynergy

  • Clearance pricing can be refused in-store when staff require a specific red sticker for the bargain.

    TenderMeat2074Gatordogs2

  • Yellow-lid totes may represent different SKUs that do not match the clearance price.

    jc723Gatordogs2

  • Stacking performance may depend on not overloading the totes during use.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

None available at any stores in KC except the midtown one which is almost ALWAYS inaccurate on their inventory numbers.

I was able to find them on clearance at 2 of the dozen stores around me, but for double the price: $4.70, which is still better than the regular price.

Depends on what you're using it for.

$2.20 is still super cheap for quality 28 quart containers.

Got a bunch thanks OP. They didn't have enough red lids but the yellow lids are fine. Just make sure the barcode on the tote matches the clearance one. The HD associate said the lid color doesn't matter.
