If I'm not mistaken, this is Costco aligning their price with everyone else, since the Pro 3's are $200 at Amazon, BestBuy, Walmart...and 2 years of AppleCare+ can be purchased $29.99.

Although Costco is forcing the 2 years of AppleCare+ on you, if that's something you were planning to purchase anyway, then buy from Costco for their extended return window.

AppleCare for the Pro 3s is actually $40 so if you planned to buy it anyway It'd be like getting it for $190 but you get the Costco return policy.

comfort on the Pro2 is night and day better than the Pro3 - use Airpods all day and have tried all iterations including the Max. The most comfortable ones that you dont realize you are wearing are the Airpods 2. this is two misses with the Pro 3 and the Max 2. Apple is putting out 3-5 year old tech in brand new hardware and charging full price. The 5 year old Max newest edition is still using the H2 chip from over 3 years ago, same with the Pro3. Dont worry all the useless features of the Pro3 like translation are still available in the Pro 2

IMO stay away from the pro 3. I had AirPods and the first gen pro. The first gen pros got replaced with the crackle issue a couple of years ago and the new ones started so I tried the pro 3 and I hate them. They are constantly not wanting to connect or connection drops, I'll be listening to music and the phone rings, I answer it and it goes to my phone instead of the AirPods. Not to mention them being in the case in my pocket and constantly announcing themselves on every iPhone within 5-10 feet of me. Apple supports solution for any of it is forget the device and reconnect.

Ah, thanks for correcting me! I don't know where I got $29.99 from. I think I was looking at Airpod Max.

It's much better than the pro 2, having owned both, subjectively ime about half as much noise gets through. I'm not sure if that's down to the foam-filled ear tips or better ANC. I don't know what these replies are on about.
