Electricians don't do small circuits, electrical engineers tend to. Electricians are tradespeople that do residential and commercial electrical installs.

Oh, I know. 🙂 I'm an EE. That's probably why my brain went there, first.

The funny thing is that people sometimes think EE = electrician who can wire their house for them. I'll leave that to the pros.

I do both. Electrocuted myself on PSU 100% worse than any 240v I've electrocuted myself with.

My heart ramped up like a dragster when I forgot to unplug an iMac.
Honestly wish I could teach it. I have so much to learn when it comes to EE though. Last screwup of mine was a console mod on a switch... So I've been hesitant (my hands shake due to issues but I mean heck sorry I just wrote out so much nonsense feel free to ignore.)

Thanks, back when I was studying electrical engineering there was a program that simulated resisters and capacitors and circuits and you would have to trouble shoot issues with multimeters and other tools. I was hoping this was like that. Guess not.
That exists out there I just don't know the game myself. If not... You aanna... Work on something?

Don't play these games. If it's free, assume that you are the product generally. These games are being used to get players to train AI to replace said players and other people from their jobs. Real data fairness would allow full disclosure in all uses and purposes of data, not general categorical labels or descriptions. Take note from scientific research where participants are allowed to call offices and inquire how exactly their data is being used, which is far from how such companies allow data and application fairness to consumers.
Imaging thinking these simulator games are anything like the real thing. laugh out loud Someone saw the news about pokemon go and is now applying that to everything...

NOT at ALL realistic!

This should cost several THOUSAND dollars.

A free electrician is ludicrous.

So then the AI can play the game for me? Confused

House wiring theory is basic, its the code that can trip you up sometimes with details. Example, no wire crossover within 6 ft of attic scuttle. However many electricians nor EEs dont know the entire code. NEC book is huge. Lets not even talk commercial.

I was thinking electrician simulator might simulate circuits, but instead you get to screw in light bulbs and fix video game controllers in your garage.
Sounds like a shocking game.

same here, hoping it had REAL educational value. guess not, a lot of life works that way. now you kinda know why some things go wrong, very wrong. (i.e. perhaps a house fire or whatever, happens)
