Why are the first 5 reviews on Amazon from diy home owners using $1000 tile saw to make 6 cuts on a tiny backsplash or floor.

Its not passing the sniff test to me.

I'm married, and if I have to redo the backsplash in my kitchen I might as well buy a $1000 tool if I can get away with it. Nothing strange about that. (I actually have this saw, I bought it last year for $760 and it's still in the box - I bought it to cut pavers though)
