That is normal sale price. Lowest I ever seen was $149, 4th of july or black friday special I forget. So I would just wait. Goes on sale 6-8 time a year it seems.

I've had the predecessor of this (DW715) for 15 years and it's still great. Seems like this newer model is cheapened a bit—doesn't have the same cutting depth, and most critically doesn't include any kind of blade line indicator? My older version has a light that casts a shadow of the blade onto the workpiece so you can see exactly where it's cutting, with no calibration that can get bumped out like a laser. I use that with every cut, kind of sad that they can't include such a basic feature with this newer model

I bought at this price from Home Depot two weeks ago (missed the $165 deal). I don't know what the other guy is talking about with the DWS715 going down to $149, I've never seen that myself. It seems unlikely it's going to go much below this price, but this same ~$200 deal has popped up like three times in the past month, not sure if they have a glut of this particular model or what.
