I just threw one of these out. The seat doesn't seal closed and spiders love to live in it. Large spiders you didn't know were in your yard.

We placed one of those on the front porch and put up a little sign asking for deliveries to be placed in the bench. Works great for us. Have probably never actually sat on it.

I've had a few of these, different of vendors, but identical, the seat cracked after a few seasons from UV and mild use on both. There's no way a 500 lb person could stand on this. After a year, 200lbs sitting is pushing it.

I like the idea of it vs other plain resin storage boxes. But I'm sure it would deform and buckle the same over time. Plus I also wouldn't want to sit on top of the spider den
