Why does this look like it was designed by the makers of the sponge? 🤔

Been researching how to best update our crappy Google Nest Wifi system and it seems tri-band is the best alternative at least in our case (unable to currently provision a wired backhaul due to a torn ACL). These are dual-band which, from my research, is going to work best on a wired backhaul if you plan to use mesh. I have an Orbi RBR50/RBS50 setup that I got from someone who was giving it away a while ago and while it's older tech, it is tri-band so the speeds are pretty decent. Definitely not enough to fully optimize the 1000Mbps we are getting from the ISP but good enough for our needs for now. The range is really good on these too, compared to our Google Nest Wifi system. Anyway, I had put an order in for a D-link pair but am now considering just canceling it as I'm suspecting the performance won't be much better... is anyone currently using these D-links now and have feedback?
